Blue Kush is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain that was produced by crossing a Blueberry with an OG Kush. It is a beautiful plant with an amazing taste and aroma. It is 55% sativa and 45% indica. Blue Kush will produce large, dense buds coated in resin even when cultivated by a newbie. It is a vigorous, hardy plant that will grow in any environment but indoors it does especially well in hydroponic systems and also in either a SoG or SCROG set-up. If exposed to low night-time temperatures beautiful lavender, violet and blue hues will result. Indoors this strain is capable of 500 gr/m2 in 60 days of flowering. When grown outdoors or in a greenhouse each plant should produce between 600 – 800 gr. in the first half of October in the northern hemisphere. Much is said about this strain’s organoleptic qualities and it is worth re-iterating that it is really a cannabis gourmet’s delight with aromas and flavours of lemon, pine and ripe, red berries. It has high THC production at 20% with an incredibly low 0.16% CBD. This ratio of THC:CBD of 125:1 produces a very powerful, long-lasting, cerebral high that is great to experience amongst friends. Its power means that it is not really a suitable strain for beginners.
