Blue Cheese is a genetic mix of Blueberry with the UK’s Cheese strain. The result of the cross-breeding was then crossed back to its Cheese father which both stabilised it while also perfecting its taste and effect.
Blue Cheese is 60% indica and 40% sativa and the flowering period is relatively short which makes it possible to cultivate outdoors in much of mainland Europe and equivalent latitudes. It is an adaptable strain which can be grown in soil, hydro and a range of substrates and will work very well in a Sea of Green garden. Grown indoors plants reach a height of 100 – 160 cm. yielding between 500 – 550 gr/m2 in a 7 – 8 week flowering phase. Outdoors plants will naturally grow rather taller reaching 140 – 200 cm. and producing 500 – 550 gr/plant for a late September harvest in the northern hemisphere. Its above-average leaf-to-flower ratio means that it is a little more work to trim but the end result is more than worth the extra effort. Buds are very dense and resinous.
The aroma and flavour combine the character of its two parents perfectly. Sweet blueberry meets musky, mature cheddar in a taste-bud tickling extravaganza of organoleptic overload. Tasty then. THC production is rated at 19% with medium levels of CBD. The effect is a complete head and body stone that will get you high while being physically very relaxing.
