Chocolate Haze is a phenotype of Chocolope, itself the result of crossing an OG Chocolate Thai with Cannalope Haze. All of these have a low natural resistance to mould and therefore great vigilence must be taken and good ventilation and air circulation is required indoors or in greenhouses.
Chocolate Haze is 95% sativa and its hybridisation has brought the flowering time down to a respectable 9 – 10 weeks, substantially less than pure Thai strains. Indoors plants will grow to about 160 cm. tall yielding approximately 475 – 525 gr/m2Â with THC levels up to 20%. Outdoors plants will become still taller, up to 200 cm, and will be harvested in late October/November in the northern hemisphere thus precluding cultivation anywhere but in warm climate/Mediterranean regions. Yields will be around 450 – 500 gr/plant
The flavour of Chocolate Haze is mildly fruity with pronounced chocolate notes. Its effect is euphoric and uplifting and is perhaps best enjoyed in the afternoon leaving smokers with a clear head and often with creative impulses. The intense high lasts fora couple of hours or so but instead of any feelings of lethargy Chocolate Haze leaves people feeling bright and alert.
