Compassion CBD is a medical cannabis strain which produces higher levels of CBD than is the case with the more common recreational varieties. Created by crossing a Nepalese strain with a hitherto un-named sativa, it produces CBD:THC in the ratio 1:1 up to 4:1 with the majority of plants producing approximately 8% of each of these important cannabinoids. Compassion CBD is a medium-sized plant, with long and slender sativa leaves, which is perhaps better suited to either indoor or outdoor cultivation in higher latitudes but which will nevertheless thrive outdoors in warmer climes. Plants grown indoors will be ready for harvest after 9 – 11 weeks of flowering while outdoors northern hemisphere harvests will be ready during the month of November. Yields range from average to above average. These plants produce plenty of resin and are very aromatic. The effects are primarily targeted at the medical user but it is also the case that recreational smokers and vapers have reported a strong, yet paranoia-free, body stone that is immensely relaxing but which is extremely functional. Therapeutically it is calming, soothing and offering pain relief to those who require an analgesic effect.
