Diesel Automatic is the result of crossing the heavily-perfumed New York City Diesel with the Lowryder #2 strain. It exemplifies the big improvement in both yield and flavour of automatic cannabis strains since the early days of the auto revolution. It is 40% sativa, 30% indica and 30% ruderalis.
Like almost all auto strains it can be grown very successfully indoors and outdoors, even in quite cold climates. Plants will grow to a height of between 40 – 70 cm. indoors while those cultivated outdoors will reach 60 – 110 cm. tall. Indoor growers can harvest between 325 – 375 gr/m2Â in a complete life-cycle of a mere 8 – 9 weeks while outdoors as much as 110 gr/plant can be yours. Warning: this strain produces quite a strong smell during flowering and so if growing next to neighbours some care with air-filtering should be taken.
The aroma is very much like chemical/diesel fuel, if not quite as accentuated as with the original photo-period NYC Diesel strain, with notes of citrus present too. THC production is 14 % with low CBD levels. The effect is of a very clear, clean, expansive high.
