Eagle Bill Regular has been created by crossing selected cannabis genetics including Pure Haze, Colombian, Thai and Jamaican among others to honour the “Father of Vapour” Eagle Bill Amato. This 70% sativa strain is vigorous in the vegetative growth stage but the stretch in flowering is not excessive so that it is quite manageable indoors. Super-cropping or Sea of Green techniques are very successful indoors; outdoors it is suited to warm, Mediterranean type climates.
Eagle Bill’s flowering period is average at between eight and a half weeks to ten weeks (60 – 70 days) and the yield is certainly above average. An extra week to ten days really makes a difference in terms of final yield, quality and flavour which develops more intensity. Its sativa dominant heritage is exemplified by the large inter-nodal length of its budding sites but as it nears maturity these really fill out to form long, contiguous, fox-tail buds. The indica genetics result in the buds having a much greater density and weight than those from pure sativa plants.
The calyx to leaf ratio is such that manicuring is a relatively easy task. The taste is smooth with some spice in evidence and, true to the person after whom it is named, it makes a great choice for vapourising. The effect is uplifting without being overwhelmingly strong thus making it a nice, uplifting choice for daytime and is sufficiently energising allowing for both physical activity as well as thoughtful conversations to be enjoyed.
