Moby Dick #2 improves the already very impressive original Moby Dick. A JYD Haze was crossed with a very productive, non-dominant, indica mother-plant of Northern Lights. Its sativa qualities have been retained, although only 55% sativa genetically, but the productivity increased in this new version. Moby Dick #2 is a very large plant that can reach a height of 3.5 meters when grown outdoors in the Mediterranean sun. Indoors it performs strongly especially when grown in a SoG system to maximise yield. Here it will produce 475 gr/m2 in a flowering time of 60 – 70 days. Outdoors it won’t be ready until the second half of October therefore growers at higher latitudes would be well-advised to seek refuge in a greenhouse if plants are to mature properly before harvest. Unlike the original Moby Dick it does not need to be fed with extra, higher doses of nutrients. The higher productive potential of this new version will be revealed where light levels are very high| where there is only just enough light there is likely to be little or no improvement. The flavours and aromas include lemon, sandalwood, spices and incense to form a complex profile. THC production is high at up to 20% and with low quantities of CBD the effect is more cerebral than physical and lasts and lasts.
