Speedy Chile has been bred with high THC in mind. It grows very well both indoors and outdoors. It is a cross of Green Poison and Chile Indica. Speedy Chile is 70% indica and 30% sativa. It is a very easy strain to grow that needs no special skills or experience to achieve success.
The life cycle of this strain is very fast at just 8 weeks from germination and ensures quick turn-around times needing just 2 weeks in the vegetative phase before switching to 12/12 lighting for the flowering stage. It remains a short plant indoors, between 50 – 100 cm, yielding as much as 525 gr/m2. Outdoors planted in the soil and receiving plenty of sun yields can be quite outstanding with 500 gr/plant being possible from plants that reach a height of up to 160 cm. Harvest is in early September in the northern hemisphere which will be at least a couple of weeks faster than other cannabis plants. It should be noted, however, that it is only really suitable for regions with a warm climate if growing outdoors – the Mediterranean or warm continental climates being ideal.
THC has been measured at 16% with low CBD. The effect is gentle, relaxing but pleasantly uplifting and euphoric and is suitable for those who like to smoke or vape during the day time. Therapeutic use includes pain relief and appetite stimulation.
